Topic: a good
leader for better future of Indonesia
Honorable all of adjudicators, respectable the
committee of competition, dear audiences whom I loved.
No words can be said, no utterance can be spoken, no
writing can be written, no reading can be read, no expression can be expressed,
and no praise can be praised except Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah. He is
the god of universe, whose affection unlimited, whose enjoyment countless. He
is the almighty god and the merciful lord.
Peace and salutation may always be with our prophet
Muhammad SAW. He is the messenger of Allah, disseminators of Islam in all over
the world, he brings the true doctrine of religion, he complete moral’s
mankind, he guide all of his mankind, and brings people from the darkness to
the lightness through Islam religion.
Happy audiences, ladies and gentleman.
Leadership is process to influence
or giving example to their follower in order to reach an organization’s goal.
It can be said that leadership is “doing something in work”. The simple example to be an effective leader is headmasters, he must influence all people in the school by doing positive way to reach
education goal in school.
Being a leader is not easy
as we imagine, the way to influence people must be with a good strategy, able
to near to people, listen their idea, etc.
Being a leader is not about
intelligence, charisma, communication, appearance, and every attribute of
leader. Being a leader is about follower. Confession of citizen must be important to make someone become a leader.
Happy audiences,
Indonesia is big country,
which has various of people with different characters, tribes, religion,
culture, vision and mission. That is why
becoming indonesian leader is not easy. Because of that, Indonesian citizen must choose a right people to lead
this country.
In my opinion, there are
four factors to be transformational leader, they are idealized
influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individual consideration.
Ladies and gentleman, firstly I would like to explain the first factor,
that is idealized influence. Idealized leader is someone who is able to be
guide for citizen, able to be believed, able to be respected and have ability
to take best decision for the importance of citizen.
Second, inspirational motivation is leader who is able to
motivate cirtizen to have commitment to vision and support spirit of citizen to
make better future of Indonesia.
Third, intellectual stimulation means that a leader must be able to make critical thought and
problem solving to make better future of Indonesia.
Fourth, individual consideration means a leader can
act as couch and good counselor to his citizen.
Ladies and gentleman,
Becoming transformational
leader is a large way about leadership aspects, so, becoming an effective
transformational leader needs process and
effort.
A good leader of Indonesia must be able to do somethings like what I will state below:
1. Good leader
must accustom his citizen to do the best for organization or country.
2. Good leader
must effort to be good example for his citizen.
3. Good leader must
listen to citizen’s thought to develop cooperation working spirit
4. Good leader
must be able to create vision that can be conviced by all citizen.
5. Good leader
must be able to be an agent of change in country and able to give good example
how to do some changing.
6. Good leader
must be able to help and improve country by influencing citizen to have
contribution to country.
Ladies and gentleman, I really urge
you all to choose good leader who has everything I told above. If we do this, I
believe Indonesia will be good country, Indonesia will be better, and Indonesia
will develop fastly in every aspect. Let’s us choose good leader for better
future of our country, Indonesia.
